NW

New Account Rep / Teller Position available:

Conroe is a full time position, NW is a part time position,  Monday through Friday.

Minimum prior experience requirements include:

  • opening deposit and savings accounts, certificate of deposit, and IRAs for personal customers and applicable compliance and BSA documentation requirements;
  • opening deposit accounts and certificate of deposits for commercial customers and applicable compliance, BSA and various entity documentation requirements;

At least 2 years prior bank teller experience including:

  • paying and receiving teller functions
  • handling currency and coin
  • regulatory compliance knowledge including CTR and BSA requirements, placing holds, and stop payment orders

experienced using a personal computer, Word and Excel.

Position includes :

Be able to assist consumer and business customers in their selection of various accounts, products and financial services available from the Bank;

Open deposit and savings accounts, certificate of deposit, and IRAs for personal customers and apply applicable compliance and BSA documentation requirements;

Open deposit accounts and certificate of deposits for commercial customers and apply applicable compliance, BSA and various entity documentation requirements.

Be able to use a personal computer to open accounts and complete letters using Microsoft Word.

Make decisions applicable to the proper identification of new customers;

Be knowledgeable of bank products and services including internet banking products and services and remote capture deposits;

Ensure cross-sell opportunities are presented by applying professional sales techniques;

Provide teller service to lobby and drive-thru customers including processing account deposits, cashing checks, issuing cashier's check and money orders, complete funds availability holds and CTRs as needed; processing stop payment orders and following dual control requirements as applicable;

Assist customers by phone as needed;

Assist customers with Internet Banking and Cash Management services; take wire transfer orders;

Provide support to all assigned areas of branch operations where service or assistance is needed, including new accounts, teller, safe deposit, vault teller, wire transfer and lending departments;

Complete any other responsibilities as assigned.
